Distillery Sector​

VORTA Pretreating Vinasse​

Spent wash generated in the Distillery Sector is pretreated with VORTA. The biogas yield achieved with the VORTA retrofit from the running AD is about 15-22%. ​

​ On a conservative side this is of the order of 1 €/m3 extra gain due to more biogas production by spending less than 0.02 €/m3 for operating VORTA. ​VORTA for the objective of biogas enhancement from the running Anaerobic Digestor is marketed as VoDCa in the distillery sector.
